ABSTRACT WRITING RULES:

  • Abstract should be written in the Microsoft Word 2007 and above, Calibri font, 10 punto, 1 (single) line gap and justified.
  • Page margins should be set 3,5 cm on the left side, 3 cm on the other side. 
  • On the first page headline should be written capital letters, center and 12 punto thick. Name and surname of author should be written just below the headline 10 punto, initials large and thick, more than one author, names, surnames, affiliated institution and e-mail adresses should be provided. “ABSTRACT” should be available just below the headline and author names, “Keywords” under the abstract. English abstract should also be written in turkish studies. No need for a Turkish summary in English studies and presents.

NOTE: Abstracts will be published and distributed as abstract book during the symposium.The papers will be published website in full text in pdf format after the symposium.

FULL TEXT WRITING RULES:

  • Full text (İncluding bibliography) should not exceed “12” pages.
  • Full text should be written in the Microsoft Word 2007 and above, Calibri font, 10 punto, 1 (single) line gap and justified.

  • ​Introduction, Conclusion, Bibliography anda other titles should be numbered  and written left based, only first letter initial and giving one “tab” (1,25 cm). Sub headings should be written left based, first letter initial, thick and giving one “tab” (1,25) and main headings, including Introduction, should be numbered in order 1., 2., 3., sub headings should be numbered in order 1.1, 1.2, 2.1  thick, first letter initial and giving one “tab”. After main headings and sub headings should be given one space (one enter), should not be given as much as possible between paragraphs.
  • Tables and Graphs: Tables and graphs should be separately numbered in their order from beginning to end (like Table 1: and Graphs 1:), after two points they should be named thick and first letter initial.. Tables, graphs, figures and maps’ headings should be placed top and centered. If tables, graphs, figures and maps was taken from another source, source should be cited just below them with 9 punto.  Pages should be arranged in such a way that there will not be two tables or two graphs and if possible descriptions should be on the same page as the related table, graph or figure.
  • Tables and figures should be prepared by grouping them to suitable for enlargement, reduction and  movement.

NOTATION AND BIBLIOGRAPHY FOR ABSTRACT AND FULL TEXT:

  • References in studies should be made according to (APA) method, page numbers should be given in exactly in exact references or in same refences.  Footnotes should only be used for explanations. Alternative situtaions are shown below;

One author;
............ in Turkey (Demir, 2007: 23). 
as Demir (2007: 123-124) emphasizes...

Double author;
..........by finance (Özyer and Bozdoğan, 2009: 39). 
as Acungil and Kılıç (2009: 39)emphasize...

Multiple author;
.........nutrition. (Sakin vd., 2005: 42).
as Tarhan vd. (2005: 45-60) emphsize...

  • Biblography should start from where the article ends, sorted by alphabetical order, 9 punto, single line spacing without space between rows and should be praperad in accordance with the format indicated below. Alternative situtaions are shown below;

PREPARATION OF POSTERS

  • Posters should be prepared in vertical format and 70 x 100 in size.
  • Participants should have tehir posters with them during the registration.
  • Participants should apply the poster acceptance desk to hang their studies in the relevant area.
  • All participants should stand next to their posters during the discussion of their studies specified in the symposium program.
